All documents for foreign use must be processed through this office.
Apostilles are issued for Hague Convention countries
Use apostilles when the destination country is a Hague member.
Authentications are issued for non-Hague countries
Use an authentication if the destination country is not a Hague member.
Documents must be original notarized Oklahoma documents or certified Oklahoma records
Eligible items include vital records, marriage licenses (≤1 year old), divorce decrees (≤1 year old), POAs, background checks, transcripts, adoption docs.
Notarized documents must be properly notarized by an Oklahoma notary
The notarization must be complete, valid, and follow Oklahoma notary laws.
Standard apostille fee is $25 per document
