Nevada will apostille or certify original or certified-copy documents including Powers of Attorney, vital records, court documents, business records, or any document notarized by a Nevada-commissioned notary public.

If the POA is a private or personal document, it must first be notarized by a Nevada notary — the SOS will only authenticate the notarized document.
Originals or certified copies only — no regular photocopies/scans
The submitted document must be the original or a certified copy; plain photocopies or scans will be rejected for apostille/authentication.

The standard fee is $20 per apostille or authentication, payable to Nevada Secretary of State.
